Presenze

Al centro del progetto “Presenze” c’è uno studio che riguarda, appunto, la presenza umana.

L’interrogativo che mi pongo è su quanto la sua presenza in determinati contesti, possa invece interpretarsi più come un’assenza.

Scattando queste fotografie mi sono accorto di come, a volte, i luoghi appaiano vuoti nonostante la presenza dell’uomo.

Diventa dunque sempre più difficile oggi, cogliere a pieno la vera essenza di un luogo data la quasi costante onnipresenza della figura umana.

Che sia forse la presenza umana l’essenza stessa di certi contesti?

At the heart of the “Presences” project there is a study that concerns, in fact, the human presence.

The question I ask myself is how much its presence in certain contexts can instead be interpreted more as an absence.

Taking these photographs, I realized how often some places appear empty despite the presence of man.

Therefore, it is becoming increasingly difficult today to fully grasp the true essence of a place given the almost constant omnipresence of the human figure.

Could the human presence be the very essence of certain contexts?
